Amidst growing global focus on sustainable development, the women's lingerie industry is shifting toward more eco-friendly and sustainable production methods. An increasing number of brands are adopting organic cotton, recycled fibers, and other environmentally friendly materials to minimize their production's environmental impact. According to Statista data, the proportion of manufacturers willing to invest continuously in the R&D of eco-friendly fabrics rose from 17% in 2021 to 23% in 2023. This move not only addresses modern women's concerns regarding health and the environment but also establishes a sense of social responsibility for the brands. The market for sustainable lingerie is experiencing accelerating year-on-year growth.

Meanwhile, a comparison of survey data from the past three years reveals a steady increase in the percentage of consumers willing to pay a premium for eco-friendly lingerie, rising from 40% in 2021 to 65% in 2023. This demonstrates the growing influence of sustainability on consumer purchasing decisions.

In terms of the timeline for technological transformation, the speed at which functional patented technologies are converted into products is accelerating. A comparison of the launch dates for products featuring typical functional technologies from around the year 2000-specifically "soft support technology" and "thermal-air insulation technology"-illustrates this shift: the former took 26 years from the initial patent filing in 1991 to the launch of a hit product in 2017, whereas the latter required only seven years for the entire transformation process. This highlights the global lingerie industry's continuously improving ability to respond to market demands and advance its production technologies.
