Cotton
Standard cotton is a very traditional fabric; it is highly accepted by older demographics and is comfortable to wear. There is also Modal-specifically Lenzing Modal, which is the authentic variety; it offers excellent comfort against the skin, superior moisture absorption and wicking capabilities compared to cotton, and a silky feel. High-count combed cotton is another option, offering significantly better quality than ordinary cotton. Then there is linen: linen fibers are found in the bast tissue of the flax stem. Through processes like retting and degumming to remove some of the natural gums-loosening the fiber bundles-followed by crushing and scutching, the material is transformed into "scutched flax" (technical fibers composed of 10–20 individual fibers). Due to its excellent moisture absorption, rapid moisture wicking, and relatively fine fiber diameter, it is a primary raw material for summer clothing.
Linen
Fabrics woven from flax fibers are generally referred to as linen fabrics. Tencel: This is a type of new viscose fiber (also known as Lyocell); "Tencel" is the brand name. Tencel is produced using solvent spinning technology. The amine oxide solvent used in production is completely harmless to humans, almost entirely recoverable for reuse, and generates no by-products. Bamboo fiber fabric is another popular choice on the market; it feels soft and comfortable against the skin, possesses antibacterial and bacteriostatic properties, effectively absorbs sweat and wicks away moisture, and is biodegradable.
